Lately Ive Been Getting Ideas For Programs Some Of Which I Probaly Cant Do Since I Dont Know ASM, But Im Posting Ideas Here For People Who Want To Make Something Or Want A Challenge To Make A Program. Some Of These I Could Do But I Am Already Busy With Making A Game So Enjoy All The Ideas.

1. This Idea Is Probally Gonna Be The Biggest!
As Ive Seen An App That Is Like A Pretend Version Of Windows, Ive Got Ideas For A Even Better One. It Would Be Somewhat Like DoorsCS but Have Alot More. When Running The Program Or Hopefully If Someone can, The App You Would Load Up, Would Be Similar To The Windows Desktop. It would Have The Task Bar, Time, and Start Button. The Desktop area where the wallpaper would be Would Show All Programs As Small Icons with names and Also include, Recycle Bin, And My TI which would be My Computer. You Would be able to right click on a program to do such functions as Rename, Lock, Hide, Archrive,Edit Program, Move,Info, ect.. If You Right Click On the wallpaper area and not on a program it would give options like New Program And, Arrange Icons By. On The Start Button It Would Have Shut Off, To Shut Off Calculator, Log Off, To Exit App, Settings, Such as Change Controls, Adjust Cursor Speed, Adjust Brightness, Ect... Next Up Would Be Programs In The Start Bar, It Would Give Programs That The App Came With Such As Ti-Word (MS Word),Draw (Paint), TI-Media Player (MS Media Player), And More If Any Can Be Thought Of. Some Of The App's Programs May Not Be Able To Be Used Right Away But They Can Atleast Be On There Waiting For When The New Version Comes Around. The App would Have Something To Allow A Specified Button To Be Used When Running Programs, When Running A Program and That Specified Button is pressed It would pause the program exactly where it is and load the App Back up. With the app back up it would now show in the taskbar that the program is waiting to run again. You could then left click to resume the program or Right Click And Have Certain Options Such As, End Program, which stops the program, Break, Which Instead Of Showing Break Error Which 2 options it would goto where you did the Break So you can edit or modify the program if its a program your making/testing. If possible the app would allow programs to use Archrived Lists, Matrices, ect... The App Would Be Able To Run All Types Of Programs such as DoorsCs, MirageOs, Ion, And Ti-OS. When You Click My TI A Screen Will Pop Up Displaying Current RAM Memory/Total RAM Memory, Current Flash Memory/Total Flash Memory. How Many Programs There Are, How Many Apps There Are. The App Would Allow you to "Link Programs" which in other words lets say I had 2 programs which both are archrived, A and B, Lets Say "A" Has A Condition that if met will run Program B With the "Link programs" function It would allow the programs to do so instead of stopping the program and going back to the app. This Function Would Be Very Useful.
Didn't I Say This Was going to be a Big Idea? I cant seem to think of what else it would have, but ya.. If You want a challenge Make this, I know Ill never be able to make something this cool.

2. Besides The Mario Game For The TI-84, someone should make another NES game which is one of my favorites MAPPY! Mappy Seems like it would be a easy game to make and probaly not that memory draining as Mario would be.

3. Point And Click games, Like Escape The Room. Or Flee From Haunted Mansion. Obviously Needs Cursor!

4. There is a helicopter game Ive player where you travel through a cave and the helicopter slow decends and holding a button would make it ascend and you would have to dodge obstacles and avoid touching the walls as the game continues to scroll. This Is Not Like The ones in Birds Eye view!

5. Another helicopter game Ive played and liked alot, Made By Miniclip called Heli Attack, I loved #2 Over the Others and I Think If Someone Could Make A Heli Attack 2 Game That Would Be Just Awesome.

6. One Idea I thought of before and I Doubt Ill be Able to make... MAKE A TOWER DEFENCE GAME!!

7. Zelda 2! That game seems to be an easier to make than Link to the past as some group of people are doing.

8. Zelda 1! The Graphics From the NES zelda game seem to be easy to replicate on the TI-84

9. This my last idea. Program For Math, Trig, Ect.. that besides Showing the answers also show the work! Ive Made One That Solves 3 Variable System of equations and shows how to solve and its very useful!

And the rest can easily be found in the massive archives of:

ticalc.org

There's dozens Zelda replicas on there too. Mappy's the only one that I don't think has been done.

Meh. I don't think the 84+ community is ready for Windows on-calc. However, calcproductions, you should note that those Zelda programs pretty much either are unfinished, stink, or both.(I tried every one of them on the 84+ and 89).

me2, True, one of them looked good, that one with the graphics, but they didn't program it right and the thing had syntax errors everywhere.

Anyways if you made a good version it would get mixed in with the bad and most likely unnoticed.

You Guys May Be Right About The Ones That LOOK Good, BUT Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 Are The FIRST Zelda Games. They Were On The NES With 8-Bit Graphics! These Weren't Graphically Great But I Think Some One Who Would Like To Should Make A Clone For The NES Game ZELDA 1. It Seems Zelda 1 And 2 Would Work Best On The TI-84 Seeing The TI-84 Doesn't Have The Greatest Ability In Graphics Just As The NES Doesn't.
GRANTED The NES Did Have Some Games That AT THE TIME Had Pretty Decent Graphics, BUT Not All Of Them Did And I Think The NES Games Would Be Better For People To Make Clones Of More.

Sorry Ideal, I don't think you understand the problem. Most Zelda games for the calc are based on Zelda DX, which was for the Gameboy and then the Gameboy Color. It's not a question of graphics, it's a question of someone doing it right.

When it comes to playing Calculator RPGs there all the same. No ones going to care whether it was Zelda for the DS or Gameboy. Maybe when playing them on computer emulators it makes a difference, but on the calculator its about size, graphics, and controls.

I don't care how it looks (to an extent, I do like to see sprites instead of letters), all I care about is that it's worth playing. I haven't seen one yet that was.
