Ok, well I've been wondering this for a really long time, When can I look for a calculator that actually has ROM instead of just FLASH RAM.

I've been agruing with the people at my school for sometime now and I'd like to know when I can finally see it.

How about you actually rephrase that in a way non-retarded people can understand?

How is it not phrased correctly. A calculator with ROM makes perfect sense to me. I mean I was just asking if any of you thought that I could see a calculator with actual ROM and not just a some RAM.

See a calculator with actual ROM? Durrr... try a TI-85 sometime. Is that you meant? Because your phrasing sucks.

I mean like it actually having like you know a HDD in it. And not just RAM chips. Like for example on the calculators on your old site all you said was that it had RAM and not flash ROM but real ROM. Like your computer's ROM.

Er, a Harddrive is most definitely not "Read only memory." If you want expandable memory on a calculator, get a HP-49 or 50, they have SD card slots.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure such a calculator does not exist.

EDIT: Allyn ninja'd my post, so apparently, one does exist, but it is still not a HDD based calc.

That's why I said I wished to get one. And know when A TI one would be made.

Well, I guess it technically does exist. People have connected HDD external USB drives to TI-84+'s, but it's kinda pointless.

Technicalities, technicalities...

That should still be considered "expandable" memory, right?

yes it should considering its on the outside of the calculator.

It has a point because I was wondering and my mind does have a point.

There is no such thing as "Flash RAM". The 83+/SE, 84+/SE, 89, 89Ti, 92+, and V200 have Flash ROM -- the user archive. If you mean an asston of storage, go get an HP calc with an SD slot.
