My ti-84 plus calculator got frozen after I attempted to download the os program! I tried the 2nd-left-right-on method and also tried pulling the batteries out and it didn't work!

And if that doesn't help you try increasing the contrast by pressing. [2ND],[^]. After awhile it should tell you about that.

2nd-left-right-on is only for the 89/89Ti, not the 84+. Removing a battery should be all you need.

Ok . . . Well, I don't think trying to reset your calculator when it doesn't have an OS is the best idea.

What happens when you try to connect your calculator to your computer? You need to resend your OS right now. If you absolutely can't send an OS through your computer, have a friend send it with a calc to calc cable.

This is going to sound absolutely crazy, but replace your batteries and try connecting your calc back to your computer. That worked for me about two years ago. I might have done some other things to, but I don't remember.

Please tell us what you are doing exactly.

Right click the os and select Send to Ti device, if that doesn't work or you don't have that option open open ticonect open the device explorer and click and drag the os into the window.

Send an OS from a friend's calc to yours.
