I know using alpha-lock makes you scroll faster but is there away to scroll all the way down the the bottom instantly? Someone told me about this and I cant figure it out, thanks for the help.

You mean programs? You can:
1. While running the program, press [ON] to cause a break error. Choose "GOTO". Or,
2. Make a syntax error on one of the program lines. When it's executed, choose "GOTO".

i think he means when your editing the program, because if your running it, theres no reason to use alpha-lock to scroll stuff

Yeah like when youre editing a really long program, is there away to get to the bottom instantly instead of spending 5 minutes scrolling down just to fix one variable

haveacalc means that you run the program, and when it's nearing the end, you press [ON] to cause a break error, and you choose the GOTO option to go to the line you broke at.

thats always fun.
unreliable if you do what i do (20 small programs)
but if its easy to tell where you're at, its very useful.

It always just says to quit when there's a break error. I guess you could just put a goto error at the end for the exact purpose of zooming to the end, but that's the same speed as holding down alpha-locked down which I don't mind doing anyways. So everyone sure there's no way to automatically scroll to the bottom? Maybe my friend was lieing...

No, there is no way to just go to the end. It would be nice, but I am for certain it does not exist. You just have to scroll.

i dont mind, i use small programs now anyways.
and when i did one giant program for my games the scrolling was more... zen-like for me. the calm before the storm of somehow figuring out how to put such a complex engine with a myriad of goto's and labels.
ugh

Yeah I guess it gives you time to think on what you did wrong and what the error might be so you can fix it before you even get there... but its kind of gay when you have to scroll down forever just to add in a quotation you forgot

Yeah I have one program that takes 3 minutes to scroll to the end. (that's the scroll when you select goto from the Break menu)

That one was done one that was 23.965 Kb. And that was uber slow scrolling. I mean seriously. 1 command per line also. Talk about newbie coding. No I'm more advanced.

There is no way to do it on the 83+/84+. There is a way on the 68k calculators but I assume you are not talking about them.

Noone corrects myness. (Mainly because they fear what my mind can do.) Also it's probably Luchbox, he's very into that.

Like, for example, this would drive him insane.<Lunchboxinsanemode> I's uses corrects grammers. I can has cheezburger now? You was, they was, I were, I done that.</Lunchboxinsanemode>

Because you see Lunchbox is a grammar Nazi. He likes grammar and will correct it at any means.

no one fears what your mind can do. we just laugh at it to distract you from being stupid enough to do anything with it.

That's still fear, some people laugh when they are afraid of something. I've wrote a 13 page paper in binary. True binary. Like this:

01100000
01100001

And not like this:

0110000001100000

I've done more things with my mind than any of you. I can guarantee it. I have done particle physics without a calculator.
