I know here at CG we have a wide variety of age ranges. My question is what is everyone studying in college, or plan on studying in college?

I know I am going to be studying computer networking and am currently enrolled in CISCO's netacad going for my CCNA.

The best way to test your network security is to hack it. I do it occasionally. As well I have very trustworthy friends try and hack my network. They have never been successful, but then again I taught them every thing they know.
Just remember that hacking is a federal crime and depending on what you do it can be punished with death.

exactly
im doing everything with that in mind.
theres only one open port to my network tho.
and when i do get in, all it says is "telnet <myip>"
and a blank DOS screen and when i input anything it goes back to my computer
probably saying that the antihacking software works.

Thank you Hydra for telling me how to hack you. And Trust me more then one port is open. Port 80, 21, and 23. I know for a fact those are open on your network. And you just told me so. But I'm a nice guy and lazy and don't feel like doing anything so I give you my word that I won't. Next time be more careful on what you say.

Yes and many others. Depends on your firewall. Port 80 is HTML, 21 is FTP, and 23 is telnet. The fact that you can view this page and dl files tells me 80 and 21. Telnet is 23.

I was just talking about going to the site and playing their game 'Hack this site'. On that site that I provided a link to allows one to imaginary hack things. They have games that simulate hacking thus It's legal. Yay legal for any user.

Yea I know. I just take hacking very seriously and should never be done as an attack. Just as a defensive measure to protect you own network.

If memory serves me right. (I helped some guy over the phone once) just look up the .js file and find what ever it is you are looking for.

Why again are you wanting to hack?
