I tried the whole 2nd, then memory way. But it reads:

ERR: VARIABLE

My ti-connect program doesnt allow me to erase it; the option is faded.

In reality, I would love to just erase everything on my ti-83plus and start from new. My RAM is ridiculously low and i have basically nothing on it.

thank you and any comment helps

reset all the memory, go to 2nd, [+], 7, over to "ALL", and then choose erase...

I tried the above and nothing changed. I am still unable to get rid of the CBL/CBR app. When I go to erase it from the memory it continues to read:

ERR: VARIABLE
1: Quit
2: Goto

please help me

ps
on the + side, my RAM has increased..thanks

Well, you could always get a program that will reset memory for you.... I'll post a link if I find one... Did you try unarchiving the variable? Wait, you said app. Never mind.

Other than that, I don't know. I'll post if I figure something out.

P.S. Congrats on the RAM increase.

What does it say when you select goto?
And there shouldn't be a varable that would prevent you from delleting the app. Make sure that the app is not in use.
And what does the app do?

When I select the goto option it returns me to the list of applications that I can supposedly get rid of.

How do I make sure the app isn't use. The program is pretty out of my league. When I start it it has the following options:

1: GAUGE
2: DATA LOGGER
3: RANGER
4: QUIT

I really don't know what the program is for. I just want to get rid of it.

What is the list of apps that it gives you. The more details the better. Ill find out what the app does. Off the top of my head it is some type of linker between calcs, or something like that.

EDIT: Ok its a data colection app. For special insruments that you can plug into your calc.

Try deleting all of the app var. That should clear the var that is preventing it.

I have a sneaking suspicion you are pressing Enter in the memory management screen. Don't. Press DEL to delete something. Enter (un)archives it, and you cannot unarchive apps, so it would throw that error.

sir, you are a genius. it worked.

I was pressing ENTER instead of the DEl button.

I won't make that mistake again, thanks!
