TI Releases AMS 3.01 for 89t (HW3)allynfolksjr
It has been reported that users have seen new TI-89 Titanium Calculators shipped with AMS 3.01, and now TI has this OS available for download at their website. According to TI, this version "Optimizes battery performance for use with the TI-89 Titanium Presentation Link (tm) adapter." If you choose to install this upgrade, it will most likely erase your entire memory. Also, some programmers have reported some minor changes in the OS, but it appears that only a very few amount of specialized programs are affected, and updated versions have been released. One more thing to consider is that the hw3patch may not work with this new OS. Find the Download page for the OS update [Here].

Edit: Kevin Kolfler has released hw3patch for AMS 3.01 on his site [Here].

Kevin Kofler updated HW3 Patch to version 1.01, which should work with AMS 3.01. You can find it at his site (http://kevinkofler.cjb.net/). Other than that, woohoo.

I have to say, I am impressed with the speed of posting this! ticalc must be really backed up or extra busy! They are down a few people so I'll let this one slide. :-)

I remember the days when there was almost a contest of sorts between calcgames.org and the then tinews.com (I think it was) to see who could post news the fastest. That was fun...

Yeah, that's cool that we beat ticalc on this post. We could have actually beat them on two others, Texas Fighters and Reuben Quest but me and Morgan were too busy so it didn't happen. Oh well, gj on that article allyn! Keep up the great work everyone. I'm probably going to be busy till the beginning of next week as I have to finish a bunch of projects.

I can't figure out how to make articles discussable, B and I could never get that down, which is pretty friggin sad, but none the less, I completely forgot about writing articles about stuff released on ticalc. I'll make sure to look into that in the future.

Nice. Does anyone note any new math functions? I know that the 2.07->2.09 leap brought a few...
