Total Posts: 689 | Here's my problem: My school uses SurfControl. It has blocked calcgames, but not CalcG. I, however, feel that is temporary. Can you guys create a separate forum-only url, e.g. forums.calcgames.org, so that I can go to forums without worrying about the evils of SurfControl?

Total Posts: 689 | I don't believe there was a proxy, and this SurfControl epidemic was recent. I mean, it used to be only evil sites, e.g. porn, were blocked. Now it's all game sites and game-related sites, and downloader sites. This is so recent, we still have the "No games during class hours" signs in the library.
Well, actually, I think those signs are part of the wall. The ban has been in effect for about two months.
Oh, and also, I do not believe we have a proxy for this site. I only know of one proxy, and that's Scroogle.

I'm suggesting you use something like http://www.unblockwebsense.com/ where it sends requests for the page you want from it's computer, then mirrors the result back to you.
