BASIC flames are for n00bs, you don't want to be a n00b do you? | My other calc is a Porsche.

You can send me a PM or email and I can tell you. In general I want to point out a few things as far as files are concerned.

I have been getting a lot of violent games lately. In general the possibility of me accepting any violent game is slim to none. Even if it is just a simple text based game where you mention the idea of shooting someone. If you think the game you are making might be too violent run it by me first or don't make it. There are a whole bunch of other story-line text based game you can make, no need to make them violent or having anything to do with drugs or sex.

Also, I actually check to see if your program works on a reset calculator, so define all your variables and make sure it works or else you'll have to upload it again.

Lastly, if you are uploading a BasicBuilder program you need to upload the BASIC file(s) with the flash file. Its under the terms of use in the BAsicBuilder .zip download at ticalc.org. If an other admin thinks I am being too harsh here, let me know.

No Morgan, to me it seems like you're doing things the right way. People don't seem to be reading the (short) file guidelines on the upload page, so there should not be a reason for complaints. If anyone who submits a file doesn't get it added, they can always send a petition or ask why. None of us will have problem explaining why or suggesting things that would need to be changed in order for a file to make it into our archives. Though, we may perhaps want to take some time to improve those file guidelines so that people have a better idea of what files are okay and what not...I'll actually be taking some time to get those guidelines out sometime soon.

Edit
/Please do not submit files that you did not create. It is not fair
/to take credit for other peoples work. These files will NOT be added
/to our archive.
/Also, to maintain a certain level of quality in our archives we WILL
/NOT accept archives that have no readme file.

You mean those guidelines? If you guys are gonna be limiting the violence, I would definitely add more than just that.

Huh, I guess I'll try to make BobGame3 less violent, or so strange that the violence will be so unrealistic that it doesn't matter.
