Number of registered users: 16564?!?!? d00ds I'm willing to bet 10000+ of those are inactive for more than a year... just send a notice to those e-mails informing them of their inactive state... Wait for 30 days then delete them all... (this won't apply to barrett because 1.He rules! 2.He's an admin and 3.He'll be mad.)

Good question allyn, why do that? These accounts can be used for stats and other sort of thing... You can see a number of active users on the main forum page. That lists shows how many people were active within current month.

well, having those extra accounts does take up your hosting space... if you wanted to delete some, send an email to everyone with under X downloads who has been inactive for Y months/years/whatever... it is quite useful... some people signup and never come back, or just signup to upload one file then quit...

the "active users" thing is cool, but honestly, why keep a bunch of inactive accounts?

The user database takes up 2.9MB right now.
But since there is at least 1500MB left in our hosting plan, I don't expect to see it as any major problem.
