Edit
Is there an official set of rules for submitted files? I wanted to add one for the content pages (yes, I'm actually doing my job, I added a few FAQ's too!), but I couldn't seem to find a list to put in there.

Uhh, well, I think most of it is actually on the submission page. Also, this page has been sitting in the admin todo list for 13 and a half months. Maybe we ought to ratify that....

Well, that page is sort of hard to find anyways.

Well, I mostly meant like the violence codes, they are really only implied. We should have some sort of a guideline list for that.

Not to mention it's the *admin* todo list, not the [S]CM todo list. ;)

Yeah, it might be a good idea to shove that somewhere a bit more accessible.

Lol, nice find Andy. This page is indeed very old seeing that it still calls out current uploaded and 'alpha test'. I think that was just about the time we release our new uploaded to public testing. I've found some typos in the old guidelines. Generally, with a few modifications we can reuse them. Though, it may be good to condense and separate the guidelines text to make it easier and quicker to read.

Well, let's make some changes to those guidelines and post them somewhere.

Duh DSP! Who wants to start? I can prolly work on a revision next few days and since its will be a content page it'll be very easy to edit and update it so it doesn't really matter who starts it.

I'd do it (grammar freak, writing freak), but I'm not an admin and I won't have too much access today. Well, maybe... I dunno.
Oh wait, anyone can work on it? Good. I'll do it.

If you make the page in pages.cgi, then you can edit it. If anyone else makes it, you cannot, what with you just being a regular CM.

I think the new design should have some sort of flag that admins/SCMs can set that'll let any CM edit that page/FAQ entry...

Naw, since Jc wants to help too, let him create the page -- that way he can work on it too. SCMs and Admins can edit pages no matter who creates them.

I got home extra early, and I added it! I simply copied the source of the old page and edited and updated it. Feel free to edit it, I won't be insulted or anything.
