I'm kinda new to programming, and i doubt i will upload anyhting to this website for a while, but if i do, i presume i'll need the graph link soft ware and cable, or, can i do it with ti connect? (i.e., back up my file, find it in explore, and then send it in)

Thank you.

You need a cable, yes, but either thew graph-link software or ti-connect will do fine. I know there is a tutorial in the faq on this somewhere, I just can't remember which one...

Anyways, if you want a better explanation than that, then click on portal on the sidebar, then tutorials.

It's basically the reverse process. Instead of dragging the files INTO Device Explorer, you drag them OUT OF Device Explorer.

Edit
Who says tubular anymore? lol

Anyways, it shouldn't be a text file, it should be a .8xp file. Don't open that.

Which OS (like windows) are you using?

You put files into a zip "file", which is simply a compressed folder.

In my opinion, any computer OS's apart from Windows XP have gone the way of "tubular". Hence, I use a Windows 3.1
JUST KIDDING!
I use an xp, so, how do i zip 'em up?
And, yes, it is an 8xp. it just has that same symbol as windows notebook or whatever its called.

Lol, I still have my Win3.1 rig in the basement. It's be so funny to take it out and fire it up. I'm not even talking about coming to CG with it, although if I have dialup I might have done that for fun.

BAH! I remember when I used to play Doom on my mom's old win2.0 computer. That was back when we loaded games from 5 and 1/4 inch floppies and 256 color resolution was a blessing from above. Those were the good old days.

Not to sound anal @L, but 256 color is screen "color depth" not "resolution". Thought I might clear this out so that other smarties don't get confused :). I do remember how cool 256 color mode was and Doom LAN DM kicked hard, I kinda miss it now that you've brought it up.

Doom was an extremely awesome, era-defining, demon-slaying entity of a game that shall never truly fade form our hearts. And thanks for the correction Z :) .
