Hey everyone did you see the new DOS game that was posted I think it was the first. It's called ZZT. It's an action, strategy, puzzle game and has some pretty decent graphics.

Yeah, somebody submitted it even though they did not write it.

It was removed by Andy, because
1) It belongs to an actual company who actually wanted people to pay actual money for it.
2) Some guy submitted it saying he co-authored it
3) It says "REGISTERED VERSION: DO NOT DISTRIBUTE"

Although it is a problem that it is still listed under DOS games.

do you realize that the forward also said that it was a registerd game, then became freeware? so... that means its free...

then again... the guy could also being lieing. so i guess the smart choice is to go to the site and see if its now freeware.

Well I have a confession, it was me who posted the game. It really is freeware though, it says it on one of the informational sites I listed The land of zzt I'm sorry if that is still wrong. The other site I listed is I think the most popular site for the game since the original site has been discontinued Z2. The guy (Tim Sweeney) that I put in the author part was the actuall author and he worked for Epic Games. I'm sorry I didn't know you wern't supposed to put games you didn't write on the site I thought If you gave them proper credit it was ok. I did try to check if it was legal, again I am sorry.

It was a good thought, and ZZT may be freeware, but I think it has enough support already.
For now, let's just LINK TO IT!!!

That sounds like a good idea. Sorry about the confusion there, next time I will be a little more clear in the description of my upload. (I fealt like a shmuck for a little while there) And hey maybe it will be a game written by me (Daniel Parrell). I just have to learn a programming language first. :)

Edit: Spelled shmuck wrong. Might still be wrong.
