well i asked help on how to make a good space shooter, platformer, and overhead view game. its all going to be compiled into one game, possibly broken up into five parts (i want to make sure all the characters and stuff are MADE IN the program, so people wont have to suffer with 20 programs of just stuff to make the program work, over loading their memory. i want to also break it up into about five farely sized memory (hopefully around 10,000 bytes) so people will be able to play this without runnin out of memory) i just need help on how to work Xlib and codex.
btw is it possible to work together on the whole thing, im gonna need it to help me learn how to make games like that.
thnx for ur time

Good luck amigo, you're gonna need it. I can help you with debugging on the forums and make suggestions for bits of code, but I am trying to un-backlog myself right now, so I will not always be here, but then again, most of the regulars should be as good if not better help than I am.

If you are just starting in on it, I would suggest you develop other type of games first, because some of it will get really complex, you will get frustrated, and then quit...

Start small, then work your way up, like most of us here...

Goodluck.

Also, make sure you never have your projects on a calc that you plan on playing games on. ;) That way things like that doesn't happen...
