No internet again! We talked to a comcast guy and he said they'll fix it withing next week...isn't that a nice responce. Well, hopefully they'll finally fix it. Till then I'll only check in once a day from my mom's dialup.
K, later.

if only life was that simple that you could just go outside and play to escape a problem...

Z plays a big part in keeping and improving the site, he also helps answer people's quesions.

Not to mention, no internet makes communication more difficult (not impossible, but difficult). And internet research is more important in schools these days.

Lol

Can you guys believe this, I still have no inet!!! That's like 15 or 16 days if I counted correctly.

Yes, I'm working on some updates offline and they'll be available when I get my inet back (for the most part). I mostly work on the site than questions due to my lack of free time but I do get to catch most of the discussions :).

Comcast tech support? Did someone say tech support? Umm....what are you guys thinking...or what is Comcast thinking? Is Comcast thinking? Actually, they're the only ine provider in my area that has the inet package I need though their latest *upgrade* didn't exactly upgrade the thing. It's very good inet when it works though, speed is very nice (3.5M down and 384K up...that's around 420k/sec down and 42k/sec up).

no dsl in my area and even if there were it wouldn't be anywhere near the cable i have. i would have 5 unique IP's either so this cable package is my only choice at this moment. till now my inet was pretty reliable, for the past year it only went out twice for about an hour each time.

My house is out of range for DSL and cable is too expensive at the current time. Man Z, I would say I would be going nts like you but hey, I almost never use the internet at home. It sucks, I wish I could say something to cheer you up but hey, looks like you have to "rough-it" right now.

YEEESSSS!!!! At last I got my inet back. According to my count inet for out for almost 19 days which umm sucks. Today Comcast guy came in and fixed it, he said that some plug that had to do with the send line was bent and therefore didn't work. It took him 5 minutes to fix all of that and it suggest that people who upgraded the box actually messed it up and those people who came to fix it earlier were idiots. Well, I'm glad its all back now so I'll be online like always and will finally update some parts of the site.
