my favorite homepage is about:blank!!! :weird:
it used to be hotmail, but i took it off coz sometimes its annoying to wait for your homepage to load when you're planning to go to some other site first.

A note on web design: the best FREE sites builders are either www.xanga.com or www.tripod.com . Oh, and has anyone every tried to make a proboards message board? My message boards are all proboards, and they're the best free boards I've found in a long time. Usually the free ones are just really crummy

The trouble with tripod is that you can't use remote hosting through things such as forums (like this)

Yeah, i know, but I alreayd started the TiFaq there since I don't know HTML. Hopefully, the calcgames admins will e-mail me for the username and pass to help me edit and fix up our TiFAq. It is totally underconstruction, so don't expect much. Go to the Calc Disscussion Forum and the URL is under About TiFaq.

just download some free html editor. if you search on download.com you'll find lots of free editors. cromson editor is pretty good but i'm sure there are many other good editors. also, if you have MSWord then you can just create html there. btw, i think Tripod's site editor is really lame. :) you should learn html anyway coz its extremely easy to learn and useful.

Yeah, I'll try that. good idea z, anyways, is cjb.net free? I need a free site. I think after you mentioned that I'll dump the Tripod site and start over, besdies I got an e-mail that said there was too much BASIC programing in there and not enough about games, so i think I'll allow my main focus to be the games. . .

Dreamwaver is the best I've ever used. And I made a web page a while ago, on geocities. The last comment was promises of updates, which never happened, because I lost interest in it. Then I got this strange thing called a life. Who knows.Anyways, my old site is here. It's about Doom 3 Alpha when it first was released.

Actually, D3 Alpha was never release but rather stolen like most other games showcased at the E3. It was pretty sweet though.

I know that it wasn't legally released, and because I'm not an idiot I was able to obtain it. I'm sure ID software was very mad at ATI, who is the only known culprit of leaking it to begin with. But I sure as heck enjoyed the alpha while I could. I had so much fun toying with settings and the config. I found speed hacks, and ways to get multiplayer, and so much other stuff. I'll still buy the final version for obvious reasons. 1) It will look better, and there will be many major improvements to the AI and design 2) It will be optimized and faster 3) be way more fun
Speaking of non-legal releases, some hacker got the Half Life 2 sources not too long ago. I just hope that stupid move doesn't hurt valve. It hasn't really spread, so I don't think it has.

Thx, -CalcFreak.

Buy final version? Sure you will, leaked alpha only has a handful of maps. I did like playing arodun with it too. Did you get to see my rather old demo page for it? I has some screens for a demo run thru. You can still see it HERE. It was done with my old gfx card and I didn't feel like updating the thing after I got a new one. Oh well, I liked the preview just like you did. Config was pretty sweet, I was surprised by a wide variety of settings and supported features.
