You Have to go to School for a few years then take a test on what you learned then your certified. there are like 5 levels of certification however... i posted that because people had been emailing me asking about wireless and difference between CAT 5+6

I wired my house with CAT5 ethernet and we also have wireless in our home (IEEE 802.11g). That's a 2.4 GHz band network and has absolutely not problems with our microwave. Our relatives also have the same thing and also no problems at all. I take it may vary from microwave manufacturers and wireless network manufacturers...

Btw B, nice one :).

I have a crappy 802.11b router, poor range, (but the speed of 802.11g can't even be fully used, so i'm ok), range is so poor tho, I can't get it in parts of my house, which isn't even especially big.

Yeah, unless you have a T3 or hooked directly to a backbone like BG there is no advantage of using g over b for cable/dsl inet. I happened to get g since i maanged to get it for very good price. I got a set of M$ base, pci card and pc car for like $60 total. Cool :)
