Total Posts: 1892 | Well, usually when someone wants an avatar, they log-in, then edit their profile.
Then they find a picture file they want online, or on their computer, then upload that picture (resized, so it's not very big), to 1) Some free webspace 2) Some webspace that came with their connection or 3) Their domain.
Then take the picture link and put in the profile. Also, options 1 and 2 may have problems with hotlinking, but not likely. |
