Im looking for good mp3 players to get. So far the best one I have found is called the Creative Labs MuVo Micro 512MB for $120. If you find a better mp3 payer then that one please tell me. My wants for an mp3 player is the following:1. About 512Mb of memory (or more) 2. $130 or less 3. Good warranty & reviews 4. Still in package 5. NOT the IShuffle from apple 6. I screen to see what you are doing 7. FM Radio? (Optional)If you want to see the one I found to make comparisons go > here (This is not the site im gonna buy it from)

iRiver the way to go mate. They have a nice line of flash players which offer really awesome sound quality, large screen, nice navi and a host of other feats. They also have a new installment of flash players (iFP line) which has a color screen and are obviously very cool. they play mp3, wma, wav, ogg, view jpg and txt and also have fm and voice recorder. I'm sure even a b/w one will cost quite a bit more than $120 for creative muvo but they're worth it. I have no idea how much the new color players cost tho... I suggest you have a look at iriver.com and check out their crop of players.

EDIT: well, the color portables are way expensive to really be worth it unless you're going for a cool gadget. if you'd like to check out other prices for iRiver stuff you can go to their store here: iriveramerica.com
Oh jeez, that color flash player even has a popup digital camera... yay

That would be cool if you store music on your Calc and listen to it.
Never gonna happen on a TI. theres going to be too many complaints any way.

Get an iPod mini. Despite the fact that i detest all apple software and hardware and the people who are stupid enough to make it, iPod's are the one thing they did right(See post in one of earlier threads, i ranted about the same thing). iPod mini has 4gb memory (about 1000 songs @ 4 min each in standard mp3/m4a format) , a decent display, shuffle and playlist features, and alarm and more. The only problem is they cost between $200 and $250.

Also, Zedd, i believe people have wired mini hard drives to their calculator so that it is possible to listen to, or at least store, music

Edit
Well, there is ONE way to hear music on a calc. Go to ticalc.org and go under TI-83+ sound. It sounds like a cell phone by the way.

Well, in this case Creative Zen Mircro is a better choice since it offers all the same feats as iPod mini plus an extra gig of storage and better sound quality for the same price. And best of all, you don't have to get anything apple who's iPod monopolized the music market. Oh and don't waste money in iTunes store because only THEIR songs won't work on any player besides iPod...and quality of songs is poopy 128kbps. If you want real music, buy teh real cds.
And speaking of TI music, there are some pretty decent wave clips for 86. Prolly the best calc music ever (quality wise).

EDIT: Like a cheap cell Jc, currenty fones if you can afford a good one gotta play mp3, video and all other cool things. :)

I only want 512MB, I dont need 4,000 songs. By the way, the Creative MuVo TX FM seems to be a better deal then the MuVo micro

Do not, I say again, DO NOT, get an iPod.

They're a complete and total ripoff.

I believe I've said this here before, but for example, a 40GB iPod costs $500. A 40GB Creative Nomad Jukebox costs $300.
