I have a problem with DOS programs. Everytime I try to run them, the black screen just flashes on, and then closes right away. I want to dump the rom of a 82, but I can't because DOS dosn't like me. How can I run this program, and make it so it stays up?

Um, are you running them from windows? Don't, if you are, because then you can't give extentions, and you can actually see what you did.

ah, you need to run the "command prompt" and then use that to run the program you want. That's in XP, of course.

Go to start, run, and type cmd to open the Command Prompt. I believe [windows]R will work as well.
