MTG is the greatest trading card game of all time.

Way better than all those knock-offs (Yu-gi-oh, Pokemon, SW, etc.)

I've played magic once, and didn't enjoy it at all, kinda like programming with perl.

Yeah, teemz has a file you can modify that can automatically change words you select to a lesser version of that word. Some of them are quite creative. :-)

you should play more.

And playing magic once is like... playing an RPG once. You have to get a feel for it.

well, I just wanted all you mtg players to know that I am an unglued/unhinged player (yknow, the joke sets?) and also have a great possible turn 2 kill deck.

What pisses me off about MTG today is about 75% or more of my cards are tournament illegal, due to the fact that they're too old.

I've got some sick cards, though. Spirit of the Night, Phage the Untouchable, that Rogue Elemental, Quicksilver Elemental, etc...

Old topic, but I figured I'd post anyway.

Yeah, I'm an MTG addict. Won some tournaments and all. Never had the money to get into the big time. Mirrodin block has to dominant of archetypes (::cough::ravager::cough::), and Kamigawa kinda just bores me, so I'm not quite as addicted as I used to be. But I still stay in the loop and all.

Magic is awesome. Everyone should play it.

My life = Nintendo + Magic

I haven't played, per se, for a long time, but I still buy new cards.

I just don't like how they're changing the rules on some of us veterans of the game (i.e. Kawigawa's new rules).

You shall address me as Lord Mathias *click hiss*

I bought a Phage the Untouchable for $6.50. That's about the only single card I've bought.

Don't make Lord Mathias angry, he'll whack you with that silly glow stick of his.

I buy singles and boosters mostly, plus an entire unglued set at one point.

I am addicted to "cardboard crack" (for those who don't know, you wouldn't understand) :D

If I go into a store to buy, I'll end up walking out with the same number of each type of booster they have.

Has anyone else bought any of the new gimmick expansion, Unhinged? Some of the cards are friggin' hilarious. Here's one: Our Market Research Shows That Players Like Really Long Card Names So We Made This Card to Have the Absolute Longest Card Name Ever Elemental.

Yes, that's its name. Flavor text: Just call it OMRSTPLRLCNSW MTCTHTALCNEE for short.

I couldn't tell you how many cards I have. I was able to buy 10 packs of decks for 10.00 a long time. Some store was having a sell.

I also inherited cards from a buddy of mine, who no longer wanted them. I think I might go throw a couple of decks together and play my brother...

Well, that's a waste of money, a box, cards, and of course, styrofoam peanuts. Why are you wasting the peanuts?!?

Also, I probably wouldn't post that word, the admins might or might not take note of that.

And how could you do that, zedd? I shudder at the thought of how many nice cards you have done this to. My Phage the Untouchable fears your pyromancy more than mine.

Oh, I almost forgot. You broke the Card Game Rules by burning MTG cards. You are only allowed to do that to Pokemon cards... lol

Akroma is better than Phage, IMO. You can reanimate her, and she can't be blocked as easily. People will block a Phage. She's hotter, too. :drool_a:

Jc. I don't have MTG cards. I used Pokemon cards. the ones that i got as a gift and can't sell for sht. They are worthless pieces of crp. The box was free, and the styrofoam peanuts were already inside.
Oh and DSP, if u haven't already noticed, i'm crazy. Probably one of the craziest here.

I dunno DSP, Zedd is kinda crazy. Maybe we should vote.

Who is the craziest person on Calcgames.org?

DSP, for his arguments
Zedd, for his sheer lunacy
Me, Lunchbox, for creating this poll
B, for leaving us all :-(

Done and Done, I already voted for myself :) .
