I'm really deeply considering getting a new laptop. My old HP 6000 700 MHZ just isn't cutting it for me right now. The two main things I am looking for is a large LCD 16/17 inches and a fast processor 3.0 GHZ there abouts.

I found this one and was wondering if you guys saw anything apparently wrong with it?

No desktops are good for me right now as I live in a dorm at school and when I go home it is to a boat with even smaller room. Thus, laptops are the best for me right now. Oh and if you know of any other kickass laptops I'd love a link.

I am impressed with the Compaq Presario. I have had no problems with mine so far, although I got mine used...

I even dropped mine accidentally, and it still works... :)

lol. The only ones that haven't seen the floor has been my 89 HW2, and the 84+ (because it isn't very old). The rest were dropped quite a bit. I am surprised that they still work as good as they do. :)

Geez, if I had a dollar for every time one of my hit the floor, i'd retire right now. My cell phone drops on average twice a day (dropped 3 times during a skit we did for class once, battery popped out each time :fail: ), my iPod mini drops every so often, and my calculators (all 2 of 'em) hit the ground more than i can count.
