hmmm....i'm not computer expert, so this may be a stupid quetion, but how come whenever i click on Windows media, to open it like always, it has a beep noise, like an error msg noise, but there's no messege. How do i fix this?

http://update.microsoft.com/windowsupdate/ should do it, and look for windows media player downloads. Windows media player goes out all the time on me also, so that's why I recommend Winamp player, by Nullsoft.

lol, I run 98SE, ran win update today, found:

26 Critical updates
43 Windows updates
1 driver updates

Poor computer, it is gonna take it a while...

Yay TI Freak!!!

Btw, you guys should check out BS Player, very good player. I use it all the time and rarely use WMP nowdays. BS Player in my opinion has better sound than WinAMP as well as more movie related features. Oh, you may need to install FFDShow codec pack so that all movies/music play fine (the pack also has subtitle splitters and other goodies).

you broke it? the files it uses are protected... and you can only turn it on and off... of course, you can always download the updates from their site...
