The University never ceases to amaze me.

Last year, I was in the Honors College (then called the Honors Program). I was living in the Honors Complex ("Honors Dorm"). I didn't get a birthday card from their office staff, even though it would have been a free matter of dropping it in my mailbox right outside the office. However, this year I'm not in the Honors College, yet I do get a birthday card in the mail, costing them the $.37 or whatever the spent on it (exact weight postage).

Wow, it's been a LOOOONG time since I posted a new thread...

Also, I'm going to be out of town starting tomorrow (Friday) night around 16:30 EST until Saturday evening around 19:30 EST, for an ACM Programming Competion. During this time I am 95% certain I will not have Internet access.

As for the newsletter, well, I don't have much content. I only have two programming tutorials (and I really don't want to have two in the same newsletter!) and my editorial. That's it. If anyone wants to submit anything Real Soon Now to newsletter@calcgames.org for inclusion, you have a few hours, or maybe a few days (or until next month). As stated above, after tonight I won't have much time for a couple days.

Wait, I just remembered -- Jc sent something in a couple weeks ago. So I have that, but that's still not very much.

Edit
I can try to piece together one or two articles on maybe a game review or something... if that'd help.

You already sent something in, remember? :)

Anyway, I think I'll just run with what I've got unless some random staff member jumps on IRC for an interview...

Newsletter is on hold until I have sufficient time to write an editorial, which might happed sometime during the day today. If I do get it to the point where it can be sent out, I'll send it to some other admin and they can send it out to everyone else; otherwise it might end up coming on Sunday or not at all this month. Sorry.

If you can't seem to finish it, send it to me and I'll see if I can piece everything together for you. I have a bunch of free time when I'm at home and wouldn't mind at all.

Would a quick tutorial on how to use a program or something be worthy of inclusion? There are a couple of math programs for the 89 that I use in school and I think they're pretty cool. I wouldn't mind doing a quick little thing on how to use them.

Of course, I'd have to find some time to write such a thing...

I could do a nice little bit on how to do GS on the 83+ with xLIB and on the 89 in PURE BASIC.
