I need new suggestions for music. The genre i'm looking for is mainly hard rock, rock, (IE something like...Creed, Disturbed, etc.) and alternative (ie. My Chemical Romance...wait that's rockish, um...Alkaline Trio) but u get the jist. Basically, just some new songs, some new bands, good music.

Well, you got Alkaline Trio and MCR... so I might have to go out on a limb here... have you heard of Rise Against? They're pretty good, and quite varied in their music. Authority Zero is pretty cool too. And also, if you haven't heard it, get something by the Barenaked Ladies, they're really good too, and everyone knows them. (Oddly, they're a bunch of fully dressed men, but that's besides the point.)

as is made clear by my avatar, i like rammstein. if you like metal, you'll like them. they are german, and the lyrics are german, but its really good, and original becasue Till, the lead singer, sings in a really low voice. yay! no screaming! anyway, if you like metal, you'll probably like them...

P.S. the barenaked ladies are canadian! yay!

Neither, but I usually don't use it in an offnsive way anyway. Just to swear at my own screwups, or my computer, i.e. "You stupid ******* crappy piece of ****!!!!!" :img01: :img19:

*Ryan laughs* :lmao: YOu must have very laid-back teachers! (I go to a catholic school {I'm not catholic, though}, so the teachers wouldm't be caught dead saying that.)

I like ska, its a lot better than everything else. Good luck finding on the internet though, any mp3 search on the internet for "ska' will return crap. Try searching for Rock at billy or My Town by Buck-o-nine. I also like any song by Streetligh Manifesto, although my favorite by them in Everything Went Numb. Crack Rocksteady by Choking Victim. Uh, Pirate Radio and Can I Get Another by The Toasters. Those are all great songs, and are ska with very different styles.

I have two teachers that openly swear, one of which apparently used a certain 4-letter word a couple times. O.o;

I have 3 teachers that swear openly, one of them is my ap french teacher, who loves to swear at us in french (pretty funny, actually). And i've learned swear words from about 3 different languages form playing football also (French, Spanish, and Tongan).

I did have a teacher in high school that said that she could say shit because she was tenured. but other than that I don' think that I have had any teachers that used any real swear words.

My professor said "America! F#$K Yeah!" in class today.

But back to music, I hope you've heard of Weezer, but also Death Cab, Harvey Danger, some more I'm blanking on for the moment. The most recent Harvey Danger CD is freely downloadable from their website, btw.
