Total Posts: 97 | I know most of us have listed our hobbies in the Bio section of our profiles, but I'm posting this thread as an opportunity for people to expound on them in greater depth of detail.
My hobby is philosophy. I love reading the old great thinkers.......Nietzsche, Descartes, Wittgenstein, Hiedegaar, Kierkegaard, Plato, etc.
In fact, I spend much of my time over at http://ilovephilosophy.com
Outside of this, I also enjoy working with computers (and calculators, of course!). I'm very big into web-development.
How about you? What are your hobbies and interests? :)

Total Posts: 1189 | Besides calcs, I program some hardcore java stuff. I love ska music and I play trumpet. I used to play trumpet for a ska band, but I had to leave. I also like reading and playing Morrowind.

Total Posts: 692 | Once again, aside from calcs, I enjoy mostly playing PC games, but I do lots of harware/software fixes for friends, family and school too. I play the euphonium (like a tuba, but smaller) in my school concert band. We just had a concert yesterday, in fact. (We pwned.) I also speedskate, though just for excercise. I also like building models, when I have the time. Biking (mountain and distance) are pretty much the only other sports I do. And, like any true northerner, my favourite vehicle is, of course, the snowmobile (mmm... carving powder). |

Total Posts: 192 | hmm I guess that makes me a fake northerner because I am not a huge fan of snow-machines(don't have one don't have a huge interest in using one). I do like to cross country ski and mountain bike in the summer(biking on snow sucks trust me). I like to play the guitar. and of course I like to program calcs. |

rhyme with "orange" and four with "purple," and I'm now working on "month." I glow
in the dark. Microwaves malfunction in my presence. The Egyptians built the
pyramids because I told them that it would "look really neato." My real full name
is 325 syllables long and nearly unpronouncable. I ride my Segway WITHOUT wearing
a helmet. I can fly. I am the leader of the freemasons. One of my farts started
World War I. I set off metal detectors with my mind. Bill Gates owes me 50
billion dollars. He knows why. I made my own Frankenstein monster in my basement.

write music, play trumpet, play euphonium (OH MY GOODNESS, ANOTHER EUPH PLAYER!!! THAT HAS NEVER HAPPENED BEFORE EVER! Sorry for screaming, but that's REALLY cool!), sing, karaoke-ing (not the same thing, mind you), build stuff out of legos, play mostly retroish videogames, play some bass guitar, I draw a bit, and I'm trying to improve, I write short stories and general fiction, I enjoy acting and drama, and daydreaming. It's a hobby for me, darnit!

Let's see, I play a lot of games (PC, PS2 mainly, but my gamecube comes out occassionally and I've got a borrowed x-box in my room right now, and down the hall (i live in a dorm) a friend owns an x-box 360 which gets hooked up to another friends hdtv, which is sweet!). I also play a lot of boardgames, but not nearly as much as I used to.
Then I am also a boy scout, and I work at 2 different camps (one of them for 2 months each summer), as well as various other activities throughout the year.
And then of course being in college I go to a lot of parties and hang out with my friends and that sort of thing. And in 20 minutes I'm going to a San Jose Sharks game also.
I guess that sums it up fairly well.
Oh yeah, and I read webcomics a lot too. My favorites are:
