I perscribe you this perscription:

Get into something ACTUALLY MATTERS in life. Start reading. I recommend Philosophy. Philosophy is beautifull because it helps us come to understand our personal meaning in life. There are too many people who are so caught up in the mundane of life to the point where they don't even question why they exist. This is a tragedy.

Edit
I gave up on philosophy a while ago, simply because I find it so depressing.

I personally suggest that you get together with a bunch of friends and go to a coffee shop or something and just hang out and get to know each other better. You'll make some memories and some things that DO matter.

Philosophy can be very depressing. But so can life. And we cannot simply "give-up" on life in the way that it is possible to "give-up" on philosophy. Philosophy, like life, is only as depressing as you make it.

At anyrate, it is certainly true that there is more to life than just philosophy. I've come to realize that I need friends to mature as a human-being. Companionship is one of the most essential requirements for personal well-being. The internet has expanded our ability to create companionship through message-boards such as these, but it is not a direct replacement for real face-to-face contact.

I learned this after spending my entire Freshmen and Sophemore(sp?) years over at Philosophyforums.com. I was their way to much, and it got to "political" over there.

Now I hang out at Ilovephilosophy.com, where I remain a long-time, fairly-respect member, in addition to being a large financial contributer.

Just my thoughts, anyhoo.... :)

hmm I remember quarter's post to say something like anyone who visits a calculator forum to be a hopeless looser. now it seems to indicate that he is the only hopeless looser. Lunchbox, you are truly evil.
