My 256MB one has more than enough room for what I use it for.

woh woh woh woh woh... slow down... 28 bucks?
are you kidding me? my 512 was almost the same price. my moms 2g was close to one hundred. are you confusing it with an external? my friend bought a 80g external for 80 bucks, and that sounds close to what you bought. wow. if it is a thumb drive, then you need to tell me where you got it from, cuz im starving for a double gig.

2gb for 25 dollars. It was 10 dollars off. The regular price was 35. Obviously you've never heard of a store called Fry's.

The only ones I have are 2 128MB ones that my dad bought for about 120 dollars each, though this was several years ago, when theses devices were extremely new. I do, however, have an external hard drive conveniently located between my two computers, which is what I now use for transferring stuff (I realize it isn't as fast, but it's harder to lose than a flash drive).

Erm, actually flash drives aren't all that fast... Especially at writing. A USB hard drive is faster in most cases.

I have an old Sandisk 512MB drive... it's been ran over, bent, case broken and generally abused, but it still operates. For portable memory I use a 250GB 7200RPM USB/Firewire external drive (that or the 100GB drive in the laptop). Camera memory is both a 1 and 2GB UltraII Compact Flash cards.

Holy Crap. A 3 terra byte hard drive. Man If I had that Much space who knows what i would do with it.

Back to flash drives.

I have a 256 Mini. Its nice because i just keep it on my key chain. Its just the right size for what i use it for.

It is much easier to suggest solutions when you know nothing about the problem.

Oh god. Flash memory cards. It's worse than HD-DVD and Blu-Ray. Why can't the companies just agree on 4 or 5 different formats, so we sont end up having to have 52-in-1 card readers? (Which does exist, btw, here.)
