what "does invalid relocation of data in ASM program" mean and haw may it be fixed

I've never gotten that error before...when is it occuring? i can see that you're using an 89. could be os incompatibilities, b ut explain when it's happening and what you're doing.

That's what happens when you try to run an older asm program on a newer 89. You'll need hw2patch for ams 2.05, or h220xtsr for anything newer. (At ticalc.org and Kevin's site respectively.)

I have AMS 2.09 so I went to Kevin's site and I could not figure out what to download

Click on the 89 programs link and find h220xtsr. Download that, read the documentation (so I don't have to tell you all of it), and enjoy.

yeah, that's due to memory managing differences in the he2/hw1 calcs. like folks said above, get a h220xtsr (i like it better than hw2patch and it'll also work on newer ams version 2.05+)

I remember a beta or something of hw2patch for AMS 2.08+. Can't remember where I saw it though... Anyone else ever find something like it?

PreOS should incoroporate the hw2patch. But with the newest ppg-launcher, I thought you don't even need hw2patch or h220xtsr.
