when i download some things in my program list it has a star infront of it then if i click it to play it says error Archived what is that HELP

Unarchive it before you try to run it. If it's an assembly program, just use a shell. MirageOS lets you run assembly programs while they are archived.

I think CJ has an 89 and i strying to run 83+ programs on his calc. [not good]

That would be quite a trick unless he typed them in manually.

Also, I'm pretty sure the 89 allows archived programs to run. If he's getting the Archived error, he must be using an 83+.

The 89 does allow archived programs to run. I do it everyday. The archived error appears on the 83 Flash family of calculators. Unless, of course, the 82 or 86 have mysteriously procured flash memory...
