Oh my goodness people, sorry to bother again but I'm having trouble with Mirage OS. Whats the point of it?? I can't seem to run any games on it at all, like Mario or Tetris. HELP!!!!

It's a shell, if the programs you have are in BASIC, then they don't show up on mirageos (usually). Make sure you get ASM games, those run in MirageOS.

Whats ASM? Well i see it in the folder but it won't go in to the calculator and the icon folder it like a text document

asm = assembly
assembly = 99999999999x faster and more powerful [and more confusing :) ] than BASIC

assembly is the native programming language that your calc understands. that translates to the best possible speed of programs written in it as well as ability to control nearly everything on your calc. basic is much easier to learn and program but at the loss of speed since it's an interpreted language as well as lesser control of the calculator. in other words, assembly games if done right are much better than basic. though, there are some good basic games too but they're usually not graphical.

Not every single program runs on MirageOS (hence the MirageOS downloads section). It'll only work if in the readme it says that MirageOS is required (some ION ones work, too), or if it's in that specific section.

right you are shocktroop, there are a few ION only ASM progs, airhawk comes to mind as one of those excetpions...

I don't like it at all, but it's the only example I could think of...and besides I cleared my RAM about 20 times before I figured I needed to use Ion. :-)
