I created a new folder in my VAR-LINK. It is titled "games." I used TI-connect to send tetris to my TI-89, but everytime I try to run it, it just says that a certain file is not found. I imported the two TI-89 files for the TI-89, and it simply just won't run. I read the FAQ about having to put a variable in the filename(, but it doesn't seem to have a number to put in the parenthesis. I'm really inept when it comes to calculators, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found a solution to it, I just put it in the main folder and it plays now. I have another question though, how do you refresh RAM without deleting a game and its respective files?

what do you mean by "refresh"? if you mean only clearing ram but not archive then there's an option in the var-link's clear memory menu.

if you want to put them in a separate folder, such as GAMES, you must type this to run them:
games\prgmname()

Also, about the memory, if you archive all your files, then goto the memory menu [2nd] + [mem], press F1 for reset options, goto RAM > all RAM > Yes. then you will have cleared you RAM while your games stay in tact.
