As many of you know, I've been away on an extended leave of absence. I've been very with school and an impending move to the town of Columbia, MO. For those of you who don't know, that's about two hours west of Saint Louis and home to one of the best universities in this part of the country.

In the past, I've had my experiences ruined by a few obnoxious people who choose to ruin everything. But if there's one thing I really enjoy about working for a site, it's mingling with the users. I'll be returning to my job of writing columns and hopefully posting some news as well when I'm not busy with school or chasing storms across the plains. Being an editor on a major site, I probably have access to some information that most users don't. I'll be hanging around on the forums when I'm around for maybe an hour or two a day and I'll try to answer questions in real time. And if I don't know the answer, I'll try to find answers. I'm not as knowledgable about some calculators and I'm not as good of a help guy. But if what you're looking for is information about the community or are interested in having a discussion, I'll certainly be around to participate. Again, it's those of you geeks, and I say that in a very positive way, that hang around on these forums and participate in the community that make it fun for me. Thanks. :)

alright let's get a discussion going then!

BYU is by far the best university in the world.
Barrett Anderson is by far the coolest person in the world.

so then, let's discuss one of them; whichever of the two you disagree with (if you happen to disagree with either, which is unlikely)

if you have to declare you are cool that many times, it is readily apparent that you aren't.

don't worry, 30% of your coolness isn't too much.

Okay, i just noticed this when browsing thru the beautiful archives :) here at calcgames.org. All the programs written in BASIC have something to the effect of "Programmed all in BASIC!!!" written in their descriptions, as if it was a good thing. But it isn't. I guess it's good that they can do whatever in BASIC, but assembly is so much better in...everything (except it's harder to learn :) ). I don't know, what do you guys think of this? Or are you guys too lazy to think?

Basic is most definately better. I have lost three calculators to the EVIL of ASM.
