Uh, yeah, it seems that all TI-83+/SE games should be fully compatible for the 84+/SE. So look for 83+ programs, and they should work on yours.

Yeah, if only TI did the same thing with their 89T and 89. Their programs are NOT compatible with each other (well, the ASM and C ones), unless they're converted.

That's only the case with 89Ti. 84 series run 83+ asm programs just fine, or at least the majority of them.

Umm, no. Read this. The 84+SE has the same amount of memory as the 83+SE.

Yeah, 84+SE is basically just a 83+SE with USB and a new look (84+SE is a complete replacement for the 83+SE)...

I heard mention of a clock as well, for the 84+SE.

Yes, I think the SE 83 and 84 have clocks. And MAYBE, maybe, the 84 regular does as well, I'm not sure.

Well, reading the general calc FAQ would be a good place to begin. You can find a link to it on the forum homepage and in our links section (under site tab). Personally I began learning about calcs from the guidebook that came alongside the product and I sugges you read it too. Though, the TI FAQ may be easier in case you already have some questions and are looking for quick answers...
