I have a TI-84 Plus Silver Edition and whnever I try to play Mario, the game is all shifted up to the right. Is this game supposed to be perfectly centered or is it supposed to be like that? If it isn't is there a way to fix it?

Thanks

What Shell are you using? ION or MirageOS?

I tired both but right now I am using MirageOS becuase it runs Asteroids fine. Mario is the same way with both of them.

Edit
hey, as long as we're on the subject of mario help...
my little brother has it on his calc... and a weird dashed horizontal line shows up in the middle of the screen. Any idea why or how this happens on his and not mine?

Is your brothers calc new? And are you using MirageOS or ION?

I ask because there has been some reports of possible MIrageOS display problems with the new 83+, and the 84's. I guess TI changed the hardware somewhat...

Make sure you have the lastest OS, and resend Mario to your calc.

um... i forgot when he did get the calc, um... about a year ago. He uses mirageOS, which I'm pretty sure was the problem. It's a TI-83+, an awesome blue one... i wish mine wasn't black...
anyway, I'm back in school today. It was such a relief to not be so bored!!! I'll be back to making slightly high quality games again!

i... don't know... i think i'll update his when he's not looking. He doesn't do anything with it except play (and beat) mario levels.

Heck, i should probably update mine.

RockyFan,
This is a problem with some new calculators. We're trying to workaround it in the next version of MirageOS. If you could go to http://www.detachedsolutions.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1944 and fill the requested information, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

actually, when i said it was blue, it has a bit of green in it... a glow stick leaked into it. Now it has green gel inside the frame, and it still works fine, but it sure is kinda weird. Just thought I'd throw in that odd little tidbit.

Gosh, thanks Dan coz this whole thing starts to freak me out. Its weird however that some calcs have that problem and others don't even though they're the same model...It'd be cool if you throw us an update if you guys resolve that problem. Thanks.
