Total Posts: 2 | My calculator (TI-84 Silver) will not download to APPS. Instead it downloads games to PRGM. Why is that and how can I fix it? |

Total Posts: 1892 | APPS are certain programs that utiltize the flash memory of your calculator.
On the 83/84 series, all programs will download into the PRGM folder.
You cannot change this. |

Total Posts: 11 | App is short for Application... Not that you needed to know that... And 24k MB is incorrect. K stands for Kilobyte, a measurment of space that a program takes up. MB as you proberbly know is Megabyte, which is aslo a measurment of how much space a program takes up. So don't put them together. It bugs me. |

Anyway, not everyone is as knowledgeable as you are. Using "So don't put them together. It bugs me." wasn't necessary.

P.S. Arn't there two different kinds of storage? RAM and Flash or something like that? |

Yes. Flash Apps go into the Flash ROM. They are the only things that appear in the APPS menu. All other programs and file types go into RAM unless they are archived, in which case they are in the Flash ROM. |

Total Posts: 1892 | You can only delete your own message, if it hasn't been replyed too. Admins and Moderators can edit and delete anyone's messages. (Mod's only in their forums, though.)
The RAM is for the programs you're running to be stored. Read your manual, the 'memory' section, It'll explain it. |

Total Posts: 11 | Ok cgmstrojan, the games are in the upper left hand corner of the site. I know its kinda hard to see, maybe they should CHANGE the COLOR. The FAQ is at the bottom of the page, you don't need to scroll down, its just right of the navigation bar. (if this didnt' explain it, ask somebody else...)
And, on the topic of memory: Do games automatically archive themselves? Because Final Fantasy Tales of Magic is like 440kb... |
