Total Posts: 623 | Probably to use it to register and then be able to download some of the money apps for free. Too bad they wouldn't work, though. Kind of requires the actual calculator's ID.
Or it could be for something entirely different, of course.

Total Posts: 2486 | Yeah, as the ID will be written into app which will not work on a calc with a different ID... Kinda pointless and besides, you can find nearly same functionality offered by apps in free programs made by various people. You'll need to look for those though. I'm sure people wouldn't mind hearing out a reason why you need a calc ID number.
