I am unable to run any programs that I download onto my TI-84 Plus Silver Edition. However, I find that I can run downloaded applications, just not programs (games). Please help .

Please explain further, what type of games are you trying to run, ASM or BASIC? Are you getting any error messages? Anything else we should know? After you provide that information, we'll be able to help you.

I am trying to run games such as mario, but when I try to open them on the calc all i get is a syntax error, and it won't run. I have an 84+ SE. Do I need to put on Mirage OS? I have tried this, but it fails to transfer.

Yes, you cannot run ASM games such as mario using your prgm screen. You need MirageOS to run ASM programs.

I have tried to transfer a Mirage OS onto my calc, but every time I try, an error screen pops up and says that the connecting program encountered a problem and needs to close. I have no idea why this happens.

Reinstall TI-connect.
But you said it tranfers non-apps, right?

Terminology problem. "Apps" are Flash Applications. "Basic" means programs written in the basic language. Tell us again what you can and can't transfer. Be specific if you can.

go to apps, then click on marage os. from there, there will be a folder, click 2nd key while on that. then move downwards to the game that you want to play, and press 2nd or enter
