yup... couldnt have said it better myself...

Calcgames has most of the good games on it, with fewer quadratic solvers...

Yeah, but sometimes you can find a good thing or two at

ticalc.org

Most of it is junk, you may find a good one here or there, go through the archives.

Quality, not quantity. That's why I submit my proggys to CG :) .

Eh, well what I submit here are all games. Just games...and they aren't the best games in the world. They are fun to make tho. :). Most of the stuff at ticalc.org is crap...they have a lot of those Text RPGs running around, and lots of I shouldn't say this because I make basic games too, but a lot of copied basic games...because people don't like makign original stuff. :). O well, what's the point of making basic falldown if there's already an ASM version of falldown

Well, we do have a good deal of lousy stuff too but at least not in such quantities as ticalc, though, they do have lots of great progs too it's just that they're hard to find in those mounds of junk. As with basic falldown, I dunno, sometime people want to see if that's possible in basic or whatnot or just have their own version... Same goes for those quadratic solvers. Everyone makes one and submits it to get dls. No one seems to bother asking themselved whether their prog is needed in the archive or not.

I have a quadratic solver, but its packaged with two other progs (ones a diff wquadratic solver, and ones an aweesome sequence/sum solver) and they all have nicer output than most too :) .

yeah, i think ticalc should ban the uploading of Quadratic solvers, but post a copy of a source. also, they seriously need a way to get buggy programming removed easily...(people report it, program gets checked by volunteers...)
