i just bought a 89Titanium and tryed to get the tankers game to my calc and im having trouble.. it says incompatible type. What do i need to do to get this to work?

Its my first graphing calculater :) so i dont know if i have everything i need for it to work right or exactly what to do.

You're probably sending the wrong type of file. You want to be sending *.89? files.

Yeah, there should be that...If it is not .89x .89y .89z .89WHATEVER then it will not transfer to your calculator. Make sure you are trying to send the right one to your calc. Plus for other games you may want to get GhostBuster. Check one of the other forums i answered on that question.

Oh yeah, the forum is under calculator discussion, and is titled "Another question sorry..."

how do i find the .89 files?

all ive done so far is unzipped the file that ive downloaded.

Simple. (This is standard for 98 and 2000 versions of Windows, I am unsure about xp...)

Click on My Computer, Open C:, and locate a folder called unzipped. This folder is automatically created after the first use of winzip. Open that folder, inside will be folders for files that you have unzipped. Locate that folder, inside should have a bunch of programs. By clicking on the files 1 time, it should say what kind of file it is (You have to be viewing the folders in web mode). I hope that helps...

Argh, I hate Winzip... And that is nothing near the process for winnt.

iv found a file called .89z and .89y but it says that they are incompatible when i try to send them.

and, TIfreak what you mentioned doesnt work on xp.

To unzip a file in XP, right click on it, select the option that says "Extract All", and follow the instructions.
