I read on the FAQ's page that on some TI-83+s the driver is a little funny, and Mirage doesn't work right. Is this the same for Ion? If not, which version should I get? Neither Mirage or Ion will work on mine.

Get the latest veerswion of Mirage, version 1.2, and what do you mean neither work on your calculator? What kind of calculator do you have?

Neither work meaning both Mirage and Ion give me the "diagonal line" screen. I have a TI-83+. Version 1.2 was the first version I tried to use.

ION would have the same problem; it's MirageOS 1.3 (which is still in beta) that fixes it.

ok then, thanks for the info guys.

One more quick question. If there is a new release of Ion, would that fix the problem also?

I don't think there is a new release of ION.

I suppose you COULD make a fixed version of ION... In fact, I'm not sure why someone hasn't...
