i cant get my ti connect thing to work while downloading it says COM 1 COM 3 not found. what do i do? then it says cannot find device. what should i do? :img01:

I just had this error myself. Make sure that you have the USB cable actually plugged into the port, my sister took mine out to put her camera cable in and it took me about 5 minutes to figure it out. This should fix it if none of thee USB ports are showing up on the detection screen.

...the camera probably uses a mini-b port too... Just use the same damn cable!

My Card Reader, mp3 player, RebelXT(Which I never plug in directly...use the Card Reader), and calc all use the same cable. Rather handy.

Yeah, my phone has a mini-b as well... And my USB2.0 hub. I just unplug the cable from the hub (after unmounting all removable storage drives) and just use that for the X minutes I need to, and I rough it with the touchpad.

Nope, the calc mini b port is bigger than the camera one.

It's bigger on the calc because it's a mini-a/b port. *Any* standard mini-b cable DOES fit in it; I've used 3 different cables than the one it came with, with it.
