Someone should program a turkey dinner simulator for ti-83+/84+/se
you would have to pick up the knife keep elbows off the table create small talk avoid eating the crannberries and all that stuff. LOL please someone make this and put wusup in the credits. Oh and at the end it should have a picture of a turkey dinner or in the middle or something. LOL 8^D

You didn't even wait 13 hours. Wait at LEAST 48 hours before double posting like that, ESPECIALLY during a school vacation as a lot of our members only get internet access at school.

You could read your manual or read TI-Freaks tutorials, or, if you have a specific question, ask us :D. We can't write the whole thing for you, but we can fix bugs and help you figure out commands you don't understand.

Yeah, that is pretty good. If you want to start right from the beginning (the very basic stuff of BASIC), then <a href="http://odin.prohosting.com/mjs2k/tutorials/" target="_blank"">click here</a> and go to the "dumb as a brick" section for the 83 and 84 family. If you've already got that, <a href="http://tifreakware.calcgames.org/asmresc.htm" target="_blank"">this</a> is TI freak's site, which contains additional resources.

Do you have any friend that are good at programing?
if you do ask them to help you learning new things
Ti-Freaks is a good web site and X-Man is a good first "learning game"
also download BASIC games to learn from. Best way is friends!

>>>and put wusup in the credits<<<

Um...Well first of all make your own program and ideas don't mean every thing

<BegainSarcasm>
Microsoft should make a new OS!
and put me in the credits!!!

There is a difference between your statment and mine. The main reason is that no one (to my knowlege) has made a virtual turkey dinner and that mine is an origanal idea... So yea.

What is your problem? It's not a bad idea for a game.

seriously, and i suppose the reason why YOU program on a calc is because you HAVE one? i was just saying it was a unique idea, and i'd be delighted to try it. (to coffman runner)

CoffmanRunner, please desist. It's fine that you think the game is useless, but it certainly wouldn't be painful to play or anything, and your critism is certainly not constructed. Besides, I do remember a gameboy game that was based off of the Incredible Crash Test Dummies that actually had a level where you tried to fall off of a building and avoid things that would slow you down so when you hit the ground, you'd splatter and stuff. :P I've never played it, but I've seen screenshots, and it looks rather fun to guide a dummy to it's doom.

Also, it doesn't have to be thanksgiving-themed, it could just center around having a meal (so that the people in other countries could understand it. I can think of an interesting way to make a game like that, but I'd make it a PC game, and it'd be kinda weird.

this is a little late but when u said its my idea and they should put wusup in the credits was a little off. someday they are going to have HALO for Calcs and if they do they have to put my name in it because it was my idea... not right, u cant put rights on the game just because u thought of it... THINK!!! lol i have to agree somwhat with coffman runer here, this games purpose could be for learning, my first game was a 30000 bite txt adventure...

Who would bother making a virus for a mac? It'd hit about 20 people.

</humor>

Too bad the text adventure got deleted, I would have liked to see it.

BTW, there WAS a game called Halo for the 83+, but apparently, it got its name changed to something else. I don't think it was very good, either. You can still find a few FPS for calcs all over the place, though...

This sounds interesting.

I've already been asked to add a timer to my game. It'd be really funny if after catching as many turkeys as you can, you'd have to eat them virtually. hmmm... I might be too busy though, so go for it!
