archive = memory that is safe, but things in it can't be used basically
RAM = memory that can be wiped, but it is where things are run

to unarcive, do a [2nd][+]2[enter] and then move you arrows to the program/variable you want to unarchive/archive and hit enter, simple enough

A Syntax Error means that there is an error in the code's "structuring".

This could be caused by the programer, perhaps, making a small mistake when he wrote the program's code.

Or, it could (possibly) be due to conflicting "actions" that occur when you attempt to execute the program.....

There are a lot of reasons that this could be happening......

Just curious: What is the name of this program you are having trouble with? And, where did you originally get the program from? :)

Exactly, if it's assembly, I don't believe you can run it directly from the program menu, and you'll need Mirage.

WEll it sounds like it is either an ASM or Mirage/Ion if it's ans ASM use the ASM( on the home screen then enter prgmxxxx if it's mirage then

OK This is the second post I've seen from you where you link to files stored on your site. Yes, it's nice you have them, but please get the author's permission before doing that. Also, it's nice to have files stored in one location (or as few as possible) so download count tracking works right.

Thanks.

Pacman99 is an ION game. I don't have a ti84 but from I heard so far, there isn't a working version of ION for the ti84 series since TI broke the assembly program compatibility. MirageOS can emulate the ION programs but its not perfect thus some things won't work. I don't know if this is the case here but I don't have the ability to test it. Hopefully others may or you can try loading Mirage or CrunchyOS onto your calc and see if they'd run the game.
