I am desperately wanting to get phoenix for my TI 83+ and I read that I have to have Mirage-OS for my calc.? Can anyone help me with this? I would greatly appreciate it.

Tip: I'm not a mod or admin, but from what I've seen, they don't like that many question marks in the topic title. Just a suggestion for later posts. :)

And, yes, you will need MirageOS. MirageOS is a shell, which is an application (in this case), that, when put on your calculator, enables you to play assembly language games. Now the important part: Click on the "Misc" tab at eh top of the site, "Shells" and then "MirageOS" under the TI-83+/SE section.Download it, then send it to your calc just like any other program. Run it by selecting it from the "APPS" menu, and voilà, instant gaming. Well, semi-instant. Okay, slow. But a good end result.

Edit
And then you can press ON+APPS to quick-open it.

And we can't fix it unless I want to muck around in the database... which I don't. :)

Oh, right. I'd better not mention that I also steal their credit card numbers from the database as well.
