I have a ti 84+ SE. When i try to copy a program to my computer, the computer tells me the "variable name" is missing, and the program will not transfer. What is a variable name and how do I fix this problem?

@Zachary940: Wrong FAQ link. He's talking about calc->comp, not comp->calc.

Does the link software allow you to rename the program? If so, rename it before you send it.

Just use your TI-Connect software and when it show you files on your calc, drag them to your desktop or any other folder you prefer. That should received the files to your computer. It's very similar to sending files to your calc.

If files don't copy, use MirageOS and renamed the offending file to only include letters and numbers and then try receiving the file again. I think you have to do that to Mario levels since they have underscores or something in their file names.
